Tour Overview

Join us on this beautiful walking tour of Al-Muizz Street to Khan Al-Khalili in Islamic Cairo, one of our most beautiful exploration tours. Explore the treasures of Fatimid Cairo in one of the largest open-air Islamic museums with magnificent buildings and mosques scattered along Al-Muizz Street. Down to the oldest market in Egypt, the wonderful Khan El Khalili, where you will find all the gifts you need to buy and more. Because of the hand-made pieces made with excellent craftsmanship, including utensils, furniture, pottery, perfumes, and other things.

Day Tour Itinerary

Afternoon: Start your day by heading to Muizz Street, one of the oldest streets in Cairo and home to many historic buildings.

Walking Tour: Take a leisurely walk along Muizz Street and explore the stunning architecture and historical landmarks. Highlights include the Al-Hakim Mosque, the Al-Aqmar Mosque, and the Qalawun Complex. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a hat and sunscreen as it can get hot.

Lunch: After your walking tour, stop at a local restaurant and try traditional Egyptian food such as koshari or shawarma.

Khan El-Khalili Bazaar: After lunch, head to the famous Khan El-Khalili Bazaar to experience Cairo’s bustling and vibrant atmosphere. Shop for souvenirs, spices, and jewelry while enjoying the lively street performers and musicians. You can sit in a local cafe called Al Fishawi to drink some fantastic Egyptian local drinks.

This itinerary will give you an unforgettable experience of Cairo’s historic district, including a walking tour of Muizz Street, a visit to the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, and a traditional Egyptian food. Enjoy your day!

Tipping in Egypt

Tipping is not included in any of our packages and is entirely up to the discretion of travelers. Although it is not mandatory, it is of great importance to the people who take care of you while traveling.

Extra Expenses

Extra personal expenses on the trip may include a food tour, alcoholic beverages, tipping, visa fees, recreational expenses, and other services not listed.

  • Tipping for the guide and driver after the trip.
  • In case of unforeseen events like bad weather conditions and eventual flight cancellations, you are responsible for extra hotel nights and meals.

Optional Visits & Entry Tickets

All our packages and tours of Egypt do not include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as entering the pyramids from inside, the mummies’ room in Museum, or entering the Tutankhamun tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.

Booking Confirmation Policy

  • The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking.
  • We are offering a low down payment of just 25% to secure your spaces on tour, including hotel rooms, cruise cabins, domestic flight tickets, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days before your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager, making you’re booking a risk-free investment.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation after confirmation with payment before 30 days of the commencement of the tour: 10% of the value of the tour package.
  • Canceling the tour 30 to 20 days before commencement of the tour: 25% of the value of the package
  • Canceling 19-15 days before commencing the tour: 50% of the tour cost
  • Canceling 14-11 days before commencement of the tour: 75% of the tour cost
  • Canceling before 10 days or less before the tour date: No refund for the tour

Children Policy

  • Up to 2 years: FREE
  • Age from 2 and below 6 years: 25% of adult price
  • Age from 6 up to 11 years: 50% of adult price
  • Ages 12 and Up: adult price.

Notes:

  • Children policy is applied to children who share rooms with their parents ( Maximum 1 Child sharing parent’s room )
  • If your tour includes airfare, additional charges for your children may apply.
